Hello! I am happy to say I am safely back here in the Philippines!
I had a long journey which seemed very daunting. I stayed 1 night in Hong Kong and then another night in Manila. Dad brought me all the way to Manila and after this my Pastor from the Filipino church I go met us and travelled the rest of the journey with me. It was so hard saying goodbye to my father. I was stood by the taxi on the road, outside the hotel hugging him with tears rolling down my face. As I let go and opened my eyes there where a few Filipinos with their cheap phones videoing and taking pictures, this did lighten the mood. I had a 12 hour bus journey before arriving in Naga and the relief once I arrived was so lovely.
I feel like I have never been gone I am so at home already. I am so blessed to feel so accepted and a part of the YWAM Naga family already. I have been out to the shops with my friends and had some good bounding times with them. During the journey here I had so many doubts and worries but right now they have all faded away.
I went to Azucuena, (the slum,) on the first day I arrived to see the children and help with the daily feeding. I was surprised they all seemed to remember my name and all ran up to me and wrapped there little dirty arms around my legs! As the feeding was happening most of them just wouldn't leave my side! I couldn't get over how happy they where to see me and how cuddly they were. I now am called Mummy Hatty by a few of the children, the first time I heard someone call me that I felt too young, but my heart melted.
I have also noticed two brothers who had no money to buy clothes. All the other children from Azucena where laughing and teasing them calling them dirty. They where wearing big baggy mens T-Shirts and looked so scruffy. I went out and bought them some clean clothes that will fit them and some soap so they can shower. I will add some photos below of there house and the two brothers.
I also have been to church and had an amazing time with the young people just hanging out. They gave me an amazing welcome. I also have really enjoyed seeing my Philippines family again. I stayed at their house after church and have seen them most days. It was Gabes Birthday and he was 13 yesterday. They had a family meal and asked me to come along which was so special! I'll be sure to try and add as many photos of the meal too!
PLEASE pray for......
1. Good Health. Lots of people here have been getting temperatures and sickness. Mosquitoes keep biting me and I want to have clear skin again!
2. Good relationships. That I would find favour with the YWAM family here. My friendships would all be real and not because I am white.
3. A good appetite. I am struggling to eat a lot of the food. Please pray I would start feeling hungry and for wisdom with what to eat.
4. MINISTRY Since I am now full time Staff I have more responsibilities. I want to know where God is calling me to be, and which ministries he wants me get involved with. Also please pray if I am meant to start any new ministries.
Thank you so much.
Hugs from Hatty

Azucena Feeding Time!
The Family I Blessed With Clean Clothes!
They have no light inside the house and use a candle for light! It was an open room, this is where they cook, sleep and hang out!
